Any MLS's out there? How much do you get paid?

I'm not comfortable putting exact numbers, but above the six figure mark. However, about a third of my final salary came from overtime and call. I like to work a lot. Also, I'm from one of the most expensive areas in the US so salaries in there area tended to be a bit higher (though not high enough to make up for cost of living).

I found it to be a great job to have while preparing to apply for medical school. I liked it a lot, but it wasn't what I wanted to do "when I grow up".

The salaries vary widely depending on area. I've worked in NYC and the Bay Area, both in the past 5 years. NYC as a Med Tech I (entry level) I was making around $26/hr. Bay Area as a Med Tech II (shift lead) I was making around $51/hr. But the entry level position in the bay area was around $45, so there was still a large difference. It seems like everywhere you go places are looking for people to work overtime, so you can always pick up more hours. Other things you have to consider is they both had great benefits, and both were union jobs. Hope this helps.

Repost thought the thread was going elsewhere for a second there.

I've made $35 weekend package and as low as $17 just regular tech. MLT though. At the higher end I was the sole lab employee and dealth w/ trauma's all the time( including draws... Etc.) I won't get into the nasty stuff but like the poster above with overtime I had the choice to make 3k a paycheck (not 100k but not bad). Not on the coasts. Avg pay in my area is $16 though, so I'm an outlier
