So I figured out a third of the way through 4th year that writing pearls down in dozens of little black books isn't the best way for storing info?

It finally dawned on me that a wiki's probably the best way to save info...it's exactly like my notebooks: lots of disorganized jotting that can be rearranged at leisure. Except hyperlinkable! And, I think, portable to pocket PC.

Anyway, with a search turning up no med student wiki, I finally started one a few days ago. It doesn't have much, but if anyone wants to use it and/or add to it, I thought I'd toss the link up:

http://www.uncleosler.com

I'll be adding a lot more to it in the coming weeks. Again, it's pretty bare-bones at the moment, but if you find it useful for your rotations, please feel free to add your own bits o' medical goodness in there.

Neat, I missed that! I'd be happy to merge mine if it's ever helpful. Still sparse right now but I'm using my "study month" to digitize the best parts of various clinical guides. I'm hoping for an uberMaxwell that can be referenced on the floors. The white coat's gotten too heavy.

is this downloadable to a palm? i'm not the best with computer technology, any help here? by the way, this is a great idea and great site. i'll add some tidbits if i find any that would be helpful not already included.

Thanks for the kind words! Pretty much everything's not included yet, so feel free to add whatever you like; I'd be grateful for all the authors I can get.

I'm working on finding a way to export the wiki to Palm. This site has a palm version:

http://faculty.washington.edu/momus/PB/tableofc.htm

Unfortunately, it's not wiki, so it's not editable on the fly, which I think is crucial.
