Might be overthinking this but most medical applicants come from upper middle class families. Do med schools look down on low income students because they might not be able to afford the tuition and need financial aid?

Nope. Most students get financial aid.
 
Hate to break it to you, but there are probably more medical students than you think who have very wealthy parents that foot the bill.

True. That's why average indebtedness on MSAR is deceptively low.
