Anyone with experience using this? Also their cement delivery gun.

How do you find the quality? How does it compare to Stryker, Medtronic etc?

only use this now. like the automatic delivery and hardens pretty quick

I thought it was a bit odd that you don’t need to mix the cement like the others, just pour in liquid and wait a few mins (per rep). That how you you do it?

This is also the only system I use now. Previously used Stryker. The Merit system is cheaper and their Powercurve osteotome is phenomenal. Great steerability. I add the saturate to the cement at the beginning of the case and let it do it's thing. Haven't had any major issues in over a year of use.

Yup, have one on my schedule right now. I just have them prep the cement at the beginning/before the beginning of the case, cuz im usually ready to go before it's "ready for use."

I did note their very long working time of cement ~35 mins. Makes sense to mix earlier.

I did notice that the bone filler only goes to the back end of the cavity on one side… how often do you have issues not getting cement everywhere you need? I.e. where you may want a curved bone filler?

Any issues to get the curved balloon to follow the path made by osteotome?

no issues with getting cement across the vertebral body, all about your track you creat.

So quaint. Still using cement.
