Mesenteric margin in Colon Resections

Can someone explain what this margin is and is it a true margin? Im familiar with the circumferential radial margin which is the non-peritonealized portion of the distal colon..if it's involved then theres an increased risk of recurrence...but what is the mesenteric margin?
