HI everyone...there are a ton of discussions on the more "popular" areas of OB-Gyn, ie.. REI, Gyn Onc, UroGyn...but I wanted to start a discussion on MFM applications for 2008.
Like many of you I have been interested in MFM since the start of my residency and have recently started applying....
I think I am going to apply to approx 5-7 programs.
I wanted to get a sense as to the following:
1) how many program are everyone applying
2) how many letters of rec people are getting
3) how many reseach papers people have done or submitted
4) do you guys think that most places take only internal candidates, given that most programs only have one position a year
5) have you seen any programs with combined tracks , ie.. MFM /MPH etc..
