Does anyone know if Michigan requires that you collect teeth prior to enrolling as a D1? I ask because I will be traveling abroad for the summer and will need to drop off jars at offices within the following week before i leave and return later in the summer to pick them up. I've only gotten emails concerning financial aid and housing thus far. I'm aware that it is a requirement at some schools and others it is not. Thanks.

no, you don't have to collect teeth at U-Mich there's PLENTY of extracted ones

I just started my fourth year here at Michigan, and ironically was thinking about students from other schools collecting teeth today...

At Michigan we don't do that, nor permit it. I feel bad for those students that must...kinda disgusting if you ask me...

We'll be working with teeth for the rest of our careers. Consider it an initiation into the field of dentistry. :meanie:

Do the clinics keep a jar of teeth for those who do not collect enough or acquire a large amount of useless teeth?
