Has anyone heard back from Michigan DPT programs?

I've been accepted to Oakland's program.
I have an interview with Wayne State.
Haven't heard anything from Flint, Central, Western, or GVSU yet.

Congrats on your acceptance! When did you hear back from Oakland?
I applied from out of state to Oakland and UM-Flint. In Flint's latest info session (2 days ago) they said unless you hit the rolling admission criteria you will most likely hear back by the end of December since they do not conduct interviews.

Thanks! I submitted my applications around August 30th. I heard back from Oakland on September 18th.

I received an invitation to interview with Western on 10/15. Today I received the schedule for the interview on 11/6.

Nice, I'm interviewing with Western on the 30th. You can message me after the 30th if you want to know how their interview process goes.

I just wanted to reach out and see if anyone heard back from any Michigan schools in terms of "Accepted", "Denied", or "Waitlisted" decisions. I already heard back from Oakland because of their early assurance decision, but I've only received "Application Received" or "Interview offer" emails from all of the other Michigan DPT programs.

I was denied at Oakland and just heard back from Wayne with an interview invite. I still have not heard from any other Michigan schools though

Has anyone heard any information that their application was being reviewed by U of M - Flint? All the other schools in Michigan I applied to sent out an email stating they were either reviewing my application or will notify me when I would find out if accepted.

I was offered a spot in WMU and AU's programs, still waiting on everyone else

Has anyone with interviews at Wayne heard back about exactly which date they are doing them?

I got accepted to Central Michigan's program a couple days ago as well. Still waiting to hear back from U of M Flint and GVSU

Hi!
I got an interview at Wayne today and they gave me the option of Dec 15 or Jan 5th, can someone share how their interview experience went?

For the most part, it was pretty interesting. It's a group-style interview, so you'll be in a group of 3-4 applicants being asked questions from 3 interviewers, 2 faculty members and 1 alumnus.

Last year the interview questions were mostly scenario based, would you say that's how your interview went this year? I'm curious because they included the CASPer test this year, which was what the interview last year was structured around. I was thinking they would include more standard DPT interview questions for this cycle.

They split up the interview process into two now that I recall: 1) two current PT students asking you scenario-based questions that is just yourself and 2) the group interview.

That's interesting. How did the group interview go? I just got the email tonight about how they're splitting the interview sections up.

For the most part it was alright. Just some questions about yourself and who you are, and there are questions that your answers will show who you are

Just got called right now, I got accepted! oh, man. 🤣🤣🤣

has anyone been waitlisted or accepted at any schools recently?

I just got accepted to Wayne yesterday! Waitlisted at U of M Flint
