Im so fortunate to have gotten acceptances to several schools this cycle. I'm now stuck between Michigan State and Ontario Veterinary College. I was initially waitlisted at OVC and mentally took that school out of my mind but I'm rethinking things now that I've received an acceptance the other day.
OVC is about 5 hours away whereas Mich state is 1.5 hours away. I'm interested in wildlife, conservation, and zoo medicine. Tuition is a big thing for me and that may be already give me an obvious answer though I know NAVLE pass rate has been low at Michigan State recently. I fell in love with OVC where I attended an informational session, beautiful campus, I loved the curriculum.. Just the move would be a big adjustment plus cultural differences. I'm very attached to my fiance lol but he wants the best for me and to choose where I want to go, no matter the distance. I'm very torn and I'd just like some input or maybe some sense knocked into me about tuition, distance, etc. I was so happy to see my acceptance from MSU and still over the moon about it.. when I got the letter from OVC, I was just reminded of how devastated I was when I was waitlisted but as time has passed, my thoughts are different now.
