Michigan State Secondary

Could anyone please share what MI state secondary is like? I thought it was online, but got the message in the status-check that its "in the mail".
I am not interested in the questions, but in how many and from whom letters of rec their want.

There are three essays to be answered--no choices on questions to answer, and they all have one page limits. They're not particularly hard.
As for letters of rec, they take a committee letter or anywhere from 3-5 individual letters of rec. Good luck!

About Michigan State... How long did it take to get a secondary after sending them $? I sent them a check in the begining of Oct and haven't heard a word? I'm applying as an out of state applicant; I'm not sure if that matters.... Thanks for the info. <img src="confused.gif" border="0">

they screen; i sent them the fee waiver thing about a month ago, then checked the online status and it said "secondary sent". i am out-of-state and they were waiting for my MCAT or the AMCAS verification, not sure what.

Hum...all I have from them is the "application processing fee notice" stub...am I supposed to have a password from the school to check my status? Thanks for the info, Lady in red!

yes, your password is probably your AMCAS id: they did not give me any, I just guessed, and happened to be right. and your user name is the SS#.
