Micra Pacemaker and RFA

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Has anyone else seen these pacemakers? Doesn't seem like a magnet can be used or used reliably on them when doing RFAs. I'm thinking about doing bipolar but interested in seeing what other's are doing. TIA.
I thought the new LCD prohibited RFAs for patients with implanted devices.

I dont disagree that a bipolar lesion is the safe way to do it.

However, the LCD states you cant do it. However, after 2 diagnostic injections, you CAN do a therapeutic injection with steroid instead per the LCD.

I don’t think it says you can’t, it just lists pacemakers as a contraindication to RFA that allows you to do facet steroid injections, under the section on facet injections.
