Micro/immuno resources

I actually thought the Abbas immunology textbook was great for a strong conceptual understanding of the subjet. It is not a long textbook, and I read the entire thing easily. I then aced immuno, which was a weaker subject for my class.

Sketchy for Micro.

And I'll second the Abbas, but make it his Basic Immunology book (written for med students) rather than the huge Immuno textbook. (If the above poster "read the entire thing easily," he/she is probably referring to Basic Immunology instead of the full Immunology textbook.) You'll also hear people recommend How the Immune System Works, which is a good intro to read in the first weekend or two of class to get your bearings.

I am most definitely referring to the short, basic immuno text. I have never seen the other, but sounds like it should be avoided.
