For someone who is a graduate and have been out of school for a while, which would be the better course to take Microbiology or Biochemistry? I need to take these classes to fulfill prereqs
Thank you
Thank you
Why not both?
Biochem. Not even questionable
Biochemistry for sure.

Biochem will probably be the much harder of the two options actually. But it is still the right one to take because it is required now by many med schools (and the number increases every year) as well as being a topic covered by the MCAT.So in your opinion you think the concepts will be easier for me to learn with Biochemistry? I've already had organic and biology classes but it's been a while. I need something I can transition into and kinda pick up where I left off and do well if that makes sense

Both are easy, take both. If you are trying to go to medical school you need to be exposed to both. Also if you think you're going to be overwhelmed by taking those two classes, imagine how overwhelmed you'll be in medical school...
I took both, though not at the same time. Having said that, both classes have helped me out tremendously so far. Since I took Biochem, I am able to spend a bit more time on Physiology and not feel as overwhelmed as I did when taking Anatomy/Histology. Then again, Anatomy is a monster in itself...
Haha...I like the how the attitude/approach changes for learning that plexus versus the cervical and lumbar/sacral...Oh brachial plexus. What a great intro to anatomy.
