I was planning on taking microbiology at the University of Washington (microbiology is a dental pre-requisite at UW) next Summer, concurrent to my DAT study. But I'd also like to use that time to do some dental shadowing and observing. I'm starting to think that maybe I should postpone the microbiology till Summer 2009, before which I would already have submitted AADSAS (I'll say that I'm planning on taking microbio). My question is how much relevance does microbiology have on the DAT? Will paralleling taking microbiology with DAT study help me on the test, or will it be too time-consuming to properly do both.
