Midwestern IL vs Tufts

Hey everyone,

Just needed some advice. I know Midwestern is a new school but does it affect things that much? I'm very inclined towards it right now. I'm from illinois so it would be nice to stay at home or even very close to home (family oriented). I liked the "new" factor and the overall campus. Does it being new school affect me negatively after graduation? I like Tufts as well (established obviously) and the location is nice. It might get expensive with the cost of living. any thoughts?

Tufts is a great school and MWU-IL will be one. All schools were new at once, so I say go where you think it's a better fit for you.

I think systems-based sciences and a quarter system are factors I find appealing about MWU-IL. Both schools are going to have state-of-the-art facilities.. with the construction of the new basic sciences facility and multi-specialty clinic at MWU and the vertical expansion of Tufts..and I think they both have new sim labs? Both schools have pretty big class sizes, Tufts being a bit larger. I think the main advantage to attending Tufts would be a well-established patient pool. I don't think there will be a shortage of patients in Chicago though. If you're from Chicago..I say MWU-IL!
