there's a rumor that Midwestern IL is planning to raise its tuition from 60 grand a year to 78 grand for the incoming class, just so you know.

Sigh, I hate rumors. They are pointless. Give a credible source before posting something meant to scare off potential applicants. Pre-dents, I'd suggest calling the school directly if you have any concerns about tuition or anything else. This happened with USN too, somebody posted a rumor from a "reliable source" about the dean quitting, which turned out to be completely false via an email response from Dr. Buchanan himself.

Yeah I agree with above. No point in posting thread if there is no source.

Also, why would they raise tuition by that much? Tuition for 4 years would be $310,000 which is crazy and can only deter pre-dents away from enrolling.

After my interview, they gave us a financial aid presentation. Tuition alone will be 58,000. I believe they also said it would be raised 5% the following year.
