For people who interviewed at Midwestern, is it open file or close file? Does the professor knows your GPAs, personal statement, and secondary? Thanks!

no. they may ask, but they only have your name and hometown. its more about getting to know you than your stats on interview day.

Actually, when I interviewed last year at Midwestern, it was open file. My interviewer had my stats in front of him and told me my scores were too low...I was a little confused because if my stats weren't up to their standards, why interview me? 👎

They won't know any info about you besides your name and where you are from, since it will be on your name 'tag'. The dean told us in the presentation prior to the interviews that they know that we were all good candidates academically and DAT-wise so they just want to know who you really are as a person. It is a very conversational interview, no specific questions about dentistry, just general info and some ethics questions concerning cheating

that was last year. they probly interviewed you because they liked you're personal statement and thought you might be worth a look. you're thumbsdowning a school that interviewed you with low stats?? a wag of the finger and a thumbs down to you! 👎
