I am hoping that somebody out there will be able to clear this up for me....I just called midwestern to ask about my app status and they informed me that my app had been placed on an interview "wait list". the woman was not too helpful explaining to me exactly what this meant so I looked online at their website and all it says is that the chairman of admissions committee may place a large # of apps on this "wait list" pending possible interview openings toward the end of the interview cycle. So....are they referring to the end of the first round of interviews, or the VERY end of the interview cycle before class is entirely full and ready to start for 2009??????????? gosh, I'm hoping this isn't that bad b/c so far I still haven't gotten any interviews : ( Please, if anyone has any clue about exactly what this means I'd love to find out!!! Thanks all!

I think it means that basically all the interviews have been sent out for the time being (since interviews sent out now go clearly into January). If someone for some reason cancels their interview you will get it. The good news is they didn't reject you.

thanks for responding! I really appreciate it : ) I was hoping someone would know something....well, guess you're right, thankfully it's not a rejection.....i better start hoping that a spot opens up for me! so it's a safe assumption to say that in their eyes I'm "borderline" for an interview invite, hence the wait list..?
