Hi everyone,
I have a quick question. I have heard a lot on these boards about how excellent of a school Midwestern is, from the way that the class schedule is set up to their modern facilities. I really want to talk about this when answering the question "Why specifically Midwestern" on the secondary, but I literally can find NO information regarding specific course schedules, clinical and facility descriptions, or anything on the website! Am I going crazy or is the website ridiculously vague about the specifics of the dental school? If you agree that it is, what did you write about when answering the question "Why Midwestern?" If you disagree, where did you find all the information on the dental school?

I suggest go to their webpage and see some of the things that they are really proud about, not just dentistry, but other professional schools as well.

how about just answering the question. why do you want to go there? take about a paragraph to say all the stuff that everyone says, and use the rest to be honest. think you'd do well in az? a fan of the systems based learning? not rooted in years of tradition? modern? ethics are important to you (there is a 4 year ethics program)? a fan of the faculty? ( dr. hasel invented flowable composite) you want to keep your options open because you dont know squat about dentistry or dental education so you are applying to a ton of schools because there's not that big of a difference anyway and you really really really wanna be a dentist? just some suggestions.
