Hello. Long time lurker. So I am on two waitlists and I hope to get off them, but if not I'm gearing up for next cycle and would like some advice on schools and other things you would like to add. Indiana resident. So my MCAT is a 36, cGPA 3.7 sGPS 3.5. Have some shadowing experience, pre-med club, marching band and pep band all four years. The things that I think I did wrong last time was only applying to 11 schools in the middle of July and I didn't have much volunteering or clinical experience. Things that I've done this year thats not on my last application is I have volunteered at poor school twice a week for this last semester. Also, next week I am going to the Dominican Republic for 10 day where I am getting 3 grad credits in underwater science research. I don't know if I can count this as research, but we do write rapid assessment reports of the sites that do get submitted to the DR's government. Also, I am going to volunteer at a free clinic or hospital starting this summer and have already applied to a few places. I will also work as a tutor and teach act and sat prep. Thanks in advance for any help.
