Mikes OC missing steps

Where is Mike's Ochem video 7.6 part 2? He said it would be posted and the quiz is on material that I presume is related to this video. I love him as a teacher but there are a lot of missing steps in his quizzes related to the videos (missing videos, quiz questions not being covered in the solution video, etc.) I get its a lot, so it is understandable. Anyways, anybody know where this video ran off to?

I'm looking at video 7.6 right now epoxides and dihydroxylations. He has two quizzes followed up part 1 and part 2. It's all there. I've watched most of his videos and he has never skipped or missed anything. Usually his quizzes span 2 or 3 videos which he calls part 2 and part 3 because he separates some of the problems into different videos but it's all there and very well organized. I don't know what you're having trouble with.

Mike covers way more material than Chad. Chad just goes over high yield content, which Mike does and then some. Their both great, but if you want to score higher I suggest watching Mike as well because doing the destroyer with just Chad isn't sufficient, but with Mike you cover most of your bases and it's easier doing the problems imo. If anything you'll at least be reinforcing the material.

The part 2 quiz seems to be material from a later chapter. In the 7.6 video, he says something like "there will be two quizzes. The part 2 video will be coming shortly". He states that the material presented in 7.6 quiz 2 is reviewed in a later chapter, I was just wondering if he meant to put in part 2 video. Nothing against him, I love him as a teacher and he is quite thorough on concepts!

Hi, originally OC 7.6 and OC 7.7 were called "Oxidizing Alkenes - Part 1" and "Oxidizing Alkenes - Part 2", as you can see in the intro title slide. I edited their names to be more more specific, so OC 7.6 is "Epoxides and Dihydroxylations" and OC 7.7 is "Ozonolysis", so it's easier to navigate those videos and find what you need. Those are the two parts he is referring to, they're all there.

Writing DAT questions can be difficult, because it is tough to come up with good distractor answer choices when you haven't covered all of the material. Good questions typically use multiple concepts from multiple chapters. The correct answer though is always something you have already reviewed and learned, and working on DAT-style questions this early on will help improve your scores and studying later. So answer the quiz questions as best as you can, and Dr. Mike will usually review every answer choice anyway so you can quickly see what is coming up.
