I saw the thread that MN has a pretty high instate interview to acceptance rate, but this must have a bias with early admissions and such, does anyone know details such as how many admissions they will give out on Dec 1 or typically how many acceptances they save for the next tier of interviews? Or any other info on this matter?

Yep! My gpa is mediocre (definately my weakest point), my dat is good and my extracurrics are great, soo with the high acceptance rate ringing in my head I am nervous that I am building myself up for a big let-down!

I'm in the same boat as you...every day and it's sorta killing me. I want to have faith and believe that I got in but at the same time am afraid of being let-down...🙁

When I was there, it was less than 300 people, but that was pretty early. They said they were going to cut down in the amount of interviews granted. In the ADA book, they interviewed 87 (I blieve) in staters and accepted 66. Not sure how accurate that is...

From reading the 2007 discussions here, I saw that that Nicki from MN sent acceptance e-mails on Nov. 30 early. (Last year, Dec. 1st was a Saturday).

So, I guess, we will know more in less than a week!!!

From reading the 2007 discussions here, I saw that that Nicki from MN sent acceptance e-mails on Nov. 30 early. (Last year, Dec. 1st was a Saturday).

So, I guess, we will know more in less than a week!!!

I did early decision and was accepted. (They mailed a letter out on Sept. 26).

30 or so people from each class are early decision people. There were about 15 people there the day I interviewed, and I think they had 4 or 5 days of interview.....i.e. 60-75 early decision interviews. They also said they wanted to interview 200-300 for the incoming class, which probably includes early decision interviews, so that fits both 150 and 250. The class size is 98 this year so roughly 2 to 3 interviewed people out of six are accepted.

thats not true. that is the max number but they dont really take more than in the teen range. and i think 75 edp interviews is largely exaggerated. i would say that is more like the application numbers.
