edit: UM-Twin Cities, UI-Indianapolis

Can someone who interviewed at one or both schools let me know what they thought about them? Grading/internal ranking, specialty focuses, research opportunities, living/environment/people, etc. Need to make a decision by next week and don't have the resources to go to both interviews

Thanks

You've got to find a way to go to both, you have no idea whether or not you will be accepted.

I already got accepted to a school and wouldn't mind going there. My follow up would have been whether either of these schools are significantly better than MCW (esp career-wise ie research opportunities). MCW is unranked by US News which makes it hard to analyze these choices

Need input whether MCW (already accepted) is significantly worse than UMN or UI

Interviewed at both. Can't really go wrong with either one and they are both very similar in terms of resources. Really depends on how you feel once you're actually there.

Minneapolis is a larger city with more things to do but Indy is not far behind and plenty of stuff to do as well.

Think you have just about any speciality you'd want at either school. No limitations.

Just realized you need an answer sooner. Sorry. Hope it worked out for you.

Not sure what kind of monetary support system you have, but now is not the time start limiting options. You could end up saving thousands of dollars on total COA vs the $500 it could cost to travel for the interview. You never know if you may be able to do some negotiating or some kind of merit aid later.

Looking at the title of your thread, my first thought was that it had something to do with Big Ten basketball! That's what i get for marrying a Hoosier gal.
