Hi all,

I'll have my interview at stony brook this upcoming week, and i am planning to stay in the school site for a night before the interview the next morning.

For those of you who went to the school sites a night before your interview, how did you handle your personal items, such as luggage/backpack/traveling bag? As i know most hotels ask you to check out by 11am the next morning so there is no place to put your personal items if you don't want to pay extra money for another night?

call the school ahead of time and ask if its ok to bring your luggage with you. i think most schools don't mind. i took my luggage to temple and other people did to. they let us pile it in an office. the interviewers won't know you brought it, because you meet them later on in the day. lots of people do it and people will totally understand, but it would be good just to call your school and check.

at maryland, one guy brought a huge luggage thing the day i was there.

i don't know why any school would have a problem with students bringing luggage. i mean, it's already a hassle to fly thousands of miles for a 15-30 minute interview. you're fine don't trip lol
