just a quick question
are minorities interviewed with other minorities?

let's say African Americans with other African American.
asians with asians
hispanics with hispanics...

thanks

lol no .... why would they be? That's interesting

I had a pretty nice mix of URM and non-URM in all of my interview groups

I haven't read about dental schools doing that. I think medical schools do it though because my roommate is URM and she had a "diversity day" interview at one of the med schools she applied to .

I think this is just a coincidence, but when I interviewed at one school, there were 14 people interviewing and I was 1 out of 2 white people there. I don't think it was rigged or anything, but was definately interesting.

lol that would be bizarre...not sure why a school would intentionally do that

Same with me! At two of my interviews it was like this...I almost feel like caucasians are becoming the minority, but they will never be recognized as it.

Actually the same thing happened to me at one interview. There were zero white people interviewing in my group of 25. I didn't think about it then, but afterwards I thought it was unusual.

White people = trades and business.

White people =//= math, science, health care.
