Talked about how exciting an internist is in PS, with 0 mention of fellowship, but the experience section has 1 rotation in a subspecialtyat a top #3 uni which aligns with my research as well and I've mentioned I want to explore it as a potential fellowship option.

Is this a red flag? Not having clear goals

Bro, I'm a visa requiring IMG with a 236 ck. Even SOAPing is a pipe dream.

IM Program directors won’t care. Every IMG (and USMGs too) with mediocre stats has dreams of cardiology or GI. Community program PDs know if you are aiming for fellowship, you will be a hardworking resident, and (assuming you have decent LOR and no red flags) that’s all that matters to them.

That's a relief, mine is actually ID.
I have strong Research in ID from my third world country and a strong af ID letter from a top US uni. Was worried it'll show lack of direction, but I guess its okay, you need to be a good internist first anyway
