missing transcripts

hey just for everyone to know how amcas can even further screw with us, well check this out....today i received an email telling me that they were missing all of my transcripts, the same transcripts i verified with them 3 times during the month of july. Well after 4 hours of heart attacks, i finally got through to the line, i told the man my problem, and he said he would have to call me back, which i did not think was gonna happen for a while. But he did, and he said my application was being sent tomorrow. so hey at least they were nice of to call me and verify, but everyone do not get crazy over email messages because they seem to becoming from mysterious places. take care and good luck

I got an email from AMCAS today at 11:30am telling me that they are missing two of my five transcripts. I called two weeks ago and they told me they had them all.

Thanks for the heads-up, I'll try not to stress about it. I'm planning to call tomorrow.

I also received this email today stating they do not have 2 of my 4 transcripts. I am happy to hear that this may be yet another glitch, but I need to hear it from the horse's mouth. How long does it take to get through? I will try tomorrow from work, but is it useless?

They lost one of mine three seperate times!! par for the course with AMCAS.

Yep, they'll be getting a call from me tomorrow as well. I called in May to make sure that my transcripts were in and AMCAS verified that they were. Now I receive an email saying that the transcripts are gone!!! To complicate matters, I am out of town, so I have to make the phone call using a credit card. I'm going to get screwed on this one...

I called AMCAS today and they do have all of my transcripts. Guess the email is some kind of glitch. Maybe AMCAS is in cahoots with the phone company to make some $$$.

This is weird...
i called amcas and they said they got my transcripts when i sent them in the first time...

i might have gotten lucky i guess...

anyone else out there still not submit their primary?

I called and my fears came true. They are really missing 2 out of my 4!! I called the schools and verified their submission back in early May. I am livid because I was told it will take 4-6 weeks to process the application after they do receive the transcripts. So much for applying early. Damn AMCAS, f$%k them for all of this.

Those AMCAS dorks signed certified mail with my transcripts two times, and they still didn't have it at that time. I had to get my delivered by courier service. I suffered from stomach ulcer during that crazy period...
