I was doing some problems in DAT and thought that I would share with you and they are as follows:

1) Not being careful with positive and negative signs when working problems in chemistry and math. There is a tendency of this to occur when there is no time left.
2) Being careful if it is COOH or OH. Example addition of KMnO4 to alkenes will give alcohols and not acids they look very similar when you are in a real hurry.
3) Overlooking the question i.e. not reading it carefully. For example which is the most acidic compound and looking for the basic compound instead. I found out that this happens a lot when you are in a hurry and there is no time.

Can anyone think of any other mistakes?
