Hello, I have a question regarding mixed race Applicants

I’m applying in roughly 2 years and I’ve been skimming through the forum lately.

I am Half Afro-Honduran (African descent from Honduras) & half White Male.
My mother is a single mother, and we’ve received government aid /Struggled ever since I can remember.
My question is, what do I check on my application? People often mistake me as just Cuban or something similar. It’s obvious I’m Mixed, but will I still receive the URM “advantage” when applying.

Just put yourself down as URM. Nobody is giving you a 23 and me to verify. Milk that white guilt with no shame

Absolutely put the URM & if anyone questions it “are you questioning how I identify with my heritage” or similar
