just curious - my school gives MLK day off and then takes it back the following Saturday by having an "annual assessment". it's like they are giving lip service to MLK day.

does your school do an annual assessment of all four years? if so, when do they do it? do they have your come in on a Saturday, or do they take a day of school to do it?

oops -posted this and then realize it should have be titled "annual assessment question". can the mods change the title of a thread?

My school doesn't have an annual assessment, but it does have an assessment test every two years at the end of the spring semester. The first one is a summative exam at the end of the P2 year, and the second one is also a summative exam at the end of the P4 year.

We just have class for MLK day.
We don't really have a yearly assessment, but we do have a calculations exam (I believe at the end of P3?).

We take the PCOA exam as our annual assessment, I'll be taking it on Monday for P-2 year.

We don't get MLK off...no one really cares.
