HI, does anyone out there have any info/opinions on the Drew-UCLA residency program? I"ve heard that it's not currently accredited, not sure if that info is correct. If you had to be in the los angeles area, would you still choose to go into this program or would you choose another program regardless of the location. How much of a risk is it if you matched into this program with all the problems that this hospital has had in the past? Thanks a lot!

it is accreditied, but on probabtion. The rest you have to answer for yourself. I personally would rather not risk a program on probabtion vs. the location, but some people might wanna take the (probably very small) risk of the program loosing accred. to be in CA.

Hey I cannot agree more with RW here. Residency is relatively short when you think about your career so why take a chance on a program on probation?
I know the LA wheather is great, you've got palm trees galore, and tons fake blondes  plus everything else but think career first. Good luck...
