MN Pre-Vets

Anyone else belong to the pre-vet club? I went to my first meeting last night and it was me and 50-60 of my closest 19 year old friends. 😀 Seriously, everyone I talked to was super nice. I was chatting with one girl and I mentioned that I thought I was the oldest person there (27 next month). She asked how old I was, so I told her and she said "well you don't look it." 🙂

I think it's going to be a good way to network and meet people in the field. Just wondering if I'm the only one here who belongs to the group?

I'm not in the pre-vet club, but I'm a vet student at the U of MN 🙂 Do you guys ever do anything with us? I don't think I've ever heard of anything, but it seems like there would be some networking or mentoring, right?

I'm not sure. This was my first meeting, so I'll have to find out. But do you have time for a bunch of pre-vets with questions? 😀 Don't want to bug you guys with all the work you have to do of course.

I graduated last year with my BS from U of M... was never in pre-vet club though!

Are you applying to vet school this year?

I'm not applying for a few years yet since I want to finish my BS first. Probably about 3 years from now or so.
