Calling all premeds taking Anatomy and Physiology and MS1 warriors willing to pass down your wisdom: Got any mnemonics for the actions, origins, and insertions of the muscles of the legs, neck, or throat? I've got to memorize them all by Monday. Feel free to post anatomy mnemonics for other areas too so more people can benefit.
This is what I've got so far:
For the hip abductors, Organic Glen Got Probed There (Obturator internus, Gluteus medius and minimus, Piriformis, and Tensor Fasciae Latae).
For medial hip rotators, picture a guy in a suit with well-defined buttocks holding a latte with one leg medially rotated inwards like he's dancing with caffeine jitters (gluteus medius and minimus and tensor fasciae latae).
The gracilis flexes the knee because standing on one foot requires grace.
