Molecular Biology of the gene

This course is offered at my Univ.

and for UF one of the required courses is "Molecular Biology or a genetics course emphasizing molecular biology: 4 semester hours"


2 questions:

1) is Molecular Biology of the gene a valid course to fulfill this requirement
2) UF wants a 4 credit course for this but at my univ. all of the molecular bio classes are only 3 credit hours - what should i do about this?

1) Yes, I have a textbook by the exact name from a course I took as a grad student and it counts.
2) Check to see if the course offers a lab for 1 credit, putting you at 4 total, or contact the school as ask to make sure.

this. molecular biology of the gene sounds to be like the class im in now, molecular genetics... it definitely counts, and mine is a 4hr credit.. check for that lab
