Hi, I'm a Canadian looking to apply for optometry in the U.S. However, the tuition itself is already ~35k/ yr for non-residents. I come from a low income family so there isn't any money saved up. If anyone is/ was in a similar situation, how did you manage to fund for it? Which accredited optometry school(s) has the lowest cost of tuition?

You gotta go to the banks. Not sure which province you're from but in Ontario, OSAP gives you like 7k which doesn't even cover living expenses lol

RBC gives you 150k line of credit, depending on your provincial loans, all of this should be enough to cover you. TD and other banks might go as high as 80k.

Cheapest school? by far, IAUPR 25k tuition. everyone else is 30-35k, one school is 39k im not sure.
