could someone explain the block schedule to me?

It essentially splits fall and spring semesters in half, so that you're taking 2 or 3 classes in a 7 week time span instead of 5 or 6 over the course of the whole semester. The goal is to lessen exam stress and retain information better

I got accepted as well on Sunday! I'm still waiting to hear back from some other programs but I'm pretty excited about possibly being up at UM!
