For the dentistry experience section, what are we supposed to describe as position title and brief description??

just shadowed! what else are you supposed to put down?

and for whom is the position title being asked? me? doc?

Also...what if you receive a LOR after the app has been submitted? do you just call them and tell them you have another one or what?

5 minutes and already going crazy. Im sure i will have some more ?s 🙁

This part of the application is a little different than last year. Before it was grouped w/ the other volunteer/community service section and didn't ask for title. As for the description you have about a sentence to make "just shadowing" sound like saving the world 10 times over 😉 IMO i think the job title refers to you. Some people actually have had assisting jobs and/or worked for a dental lab. Even so I dont know what you should put for position title.

and for the position title? cause.....

there is already a checkbox, choosing whether you volunteer, shadow...?

or is it the position title of the supervisor. i dont know.

I also have questions about this section. My only experience is shadowing--i shadowed 4 different dentist in 3 different clinics--but this section of the application doesn't allow u to add additional entries, only one entry ..do u think i should just list all 4 dentists in the same "supervisor" blank, or what??? 😎

After you've submitted one instance, scroll down. You will see that the fields will be blank and you can add additional experiences. It's also the same when entering courses per a quarter under that section.

yea this is weird. I'm going to put assistant because after I shadowed my dentsit for a long while he let me do some stuff. ie: suction, etc...

Its also wierd that I cant find a place where to say what your minor is. I have another thread about it but if any1 knows please give us some advice. Thanks.

becuase there is no option for this on the application, so i guess not?!?
