I just got a letter saying that LECOM is opening a branch in Florida. I would like to know more information about the school from those who either applied there, got in, or are committed to be a member of the Class of 2008. I read the website, but I would like to know more before I decide whether to apply there or not. The secondary seems like a long application.

There isn't much to tell about the FL school. It's in the process of being built and no one I know really knows that much about it. It's going to be entirely PBL and there may or may not be MSIIs on campus. I'm a PBL MSI and I've heard a few rumors about some of my classmates moving to FL. Don't hold me to it. Aside from that, I'm sure it will have pretty much the same policies as Lecom in Erie.

If you are interested in learning more, try the LECOM website. Review the information regarding the PBL pathway, which should tell you most of what you need to know about the setup of the program. Location is just a minor detail. You won't have a lot of time to see the outdoors anyway!!!🙄

Also, the director of pbl in Erie is going to be running the show at FLECOM, so I would venture to say that alot of things will be much like the are here in the north!
