Does anyone know if there is another wave of interviews? It's been really quiet lately.

Things are generally quieter around winter-break time, but will pick up again when the spring semester starts. Not to the same extent, but more interviews are still possible.

If you really want to interview at any of them, I'd recommend sending letters/updates.

I just got an invite yesterday, after waiting for about 3 months from my in state school (though for MD/PhD I guess it doesn't matter).

Don't give up though, invites are still coming out!

I would update them on your activities and awards.
I don't know if you should do these for all 14 schools though...
