More Realistic Test: Top Score or Kaplan

I've got my DAT coming up next week, so I've been doing multiple practice tests. I did 3 out of Kaplan and have been doing alright. Everything has been in the 19-23 range. 2 were from my Kaplan class and another was from a separate Kaplan book. However, I'm halfway through my first Top Score exam and it's literally destroying me

Anyone have experience with the real DAT, Kaplan, or Top Score? I was feeling good but now I'm starting to freak out hah

Just wondering if the Kaplan was a joke compared to the real thing or if Top Score is just really hard compared to DAT (or something in between)

Topscore is pretty good indication as to what you will get on your test (+/- 1-3 pts). Dont worry, just learn from your mistakes!

kaplan does a pretty decent job for the sciences, and even math, but is pretty bad at pat. i hear top score is great for pat

topscore is good for pat, kaplan is good for math and sciences.

Topscore is all around a better simulation of the DAT than anything else I tried.

Ok, I feel a lot better now. Top Score is much harder than Kaplan, but out of 3 TOP Score tests, the lowest score I got on a section was 18. All the rest were 19-22.

Top Score's PAT section is more challenging as mentioned by others. It definitely helps

i felt topscore was just like the DAT. only its pat was a little easier

topscore is good for pat, kaplan is good for math and sciences.

I thought topscore's PAT was too easy. DAT achiever's PAT was good. It's a bit harder than the real thing but when you're taking the real thing you need to be more prepared and I felt like DAT achiever helped me with that. Topscore is good for everything else. Good luck🙂

I just ordered TopScore.
and Kaplan ehh it was ok i guess. Even their study guide has a lot of typos, errors, and not enough information for some of the topics they cover.

I found TopScore to be closer than Kaplan to the real thing. Except Bio on the actual test is def. harder. Kaplan math and PAT I found to be way too easy.
