Best how-to atlas for the entire scope of interventional pain procedures:

Opinions?

I plan on starting a practice next year and will probably have to perform some esoteric procedures every now and then.

"Radiographic Imaging for Regional Anesthesia and Pain Management" (Raj)

vs

"Atlas of Interventional Pain Management" or "Interventional Pain Management" Waldman (I heard this book is the most comprehensive but does not include images for all the procedure descriptions).

I have Fenton and the ISIS Guidelines, but they are not quite comprehensive.

Waldman has new editions of his pain texbooks coming out in the next few months. That might be your best bet. Hopefully they will be major upgrades as the current images in his texts are poor..

His atlases, text books or both?

I got some Amazon gift cerificates for Christmas and trying to make the best choice.

I just received the two volume set Pain Management today. It has a wide variety of authors and technique spanning from kyphoplasty to shoulder evaluations. There are many many chapters, and each has some photographs of the procedures, but the purpose is not to be a "how to" book per se, but is examining the procedures from an evaluative standpoint. We need to hear other's feedback on this text, pro and con.
