What is the most difficult class you guys had to take during your first year? Is histology bad? I have never taken a histology course and I'm a little nervous.
thanks

i had a hard time with dental anatomy, I couldn't carve those teeth from wax if my life depended on it then!

I thought Gross Anatomy was the worst during first year. I just didn't want to be bothered with having to learn all those muscles and attachments, and then being able to identify them on a cadaver during the exam. I didn't mind the dissecting part, just the learning part. However, I can't decide which class was worse - Gross Anatomy first year or Operative Dentistry pre-clinical lab second year. Operative was the most frustrating class I have ever taken.

Yeah, operative was disorganized but by the second practical I had got the hang of it, fixed pros on the other hand I struggled the whole semester making the stupid gold crown, and sophmore year with the bridge 18 - 20 with 20 being a 3/4 crown.

I always and still do better in operative, although on the crdts regional board exam I did awesome on my crown preps, it was perio that seemed to be a problem!!!
