Would working to understand a loved one's addiction to prescription pain killers qualify in the forum's opinion? He is getting help + happy ending kind of also
Being able to comfort my brother, show him support, help guide him where i can, inspire him to go back to school, learn about addiction
OP can argue that s/he achieved a better understanding of his addiction, which also increased the relationship between them.
I guess you could do that. But in my opinion it seems like a stretch. Essentially you're capitalizing on your brother's misfortunes. I guess it's the same as applicants talking about a dying relative or whatnot, so go for it!
I am capitalizing on my brother's misfortunes?
What exactly did you achieve?
Can I get some feedback from someone more familiar with ADCOMS/possibly used something similar in their most sig non academic achievement
I guess you are righ tTxResident, for the sake of time I'll just talk about how I play classical piano. Easier to write haha.
Edit: and I guess no reason to air dirty laundry unless you have to (read: moral or ethical dilemma)
