Hi everyone,

Now that we've gone through 1 cycle of choosing 3 EC's as *most significant*, I was wondering how people went about it.

The topics I am choosing to write about for my PS are really what drove me to pursue medicine. In that sense, they are the most significant ECs in my eyes. Would adcoms find this redundant that I am writing about them in my PS and then writing about them more in the work/activities section? Should I be using the most significant EC section more effectively and expanding on other EC's, even if they did not impact me as much?

Any advice would be great!

I think it might be redundant, but who knows. My "most significant" were things that I briefly mentioned anecdotally in my PS, but reflected more on in the description on AMCAS. So in the PS I talked about a specific experience, and in the AMCAS description box I talked about what the experience as a whole meant to me, what I learned, and what I accomplished.

The fact that I mention them twice is redundant, but I discussed completely different parts of them.

Oh I see what you're saying.

I wonder how adcoms view these.
