Did anyone here get placed on the waiting list at TWU Houston or Dallas? I got placed on the wait list and I am trying to get a feel of what the chances are for acceptance. Or am I beating a dead horse.

Did you interview? Or did they place you on a waitlist to interview?

I interviewed last friday here in Houston and they told us that we would find out mid-January if we were accepted into the program. They also told us that if we were accepting another offer to let them know so that they could talk to people on the waitlist. However, I don't know if that waitlist is from the people that interviewed.

Unfortunately, I did not get a chance to interview, no invite. I was placed straight on the waiting list. How was it?

It wasn't too bad. The group was divided in two and that determined whether or not you did the writing task first or the interview.

The writing task consisted of an article and you had to summarize it and give your position regarding the article. They gave you an hour to do it.

The interview was with two people: mine was with a professor and a graduate student. They asked the standard questions: What made you decide on OT? What are your hobbies? What is an obstacle that you overcame? and they wanted to know if you had any questions for them.

They also give you a tour of the building.
