Reaching out to the SDN community!

I am about 2 weeks away from taking the DAT (for the second time) and the past two days have been a struggle. I've studied A LOT for 2.5 months and have gotten good scores on practice exams, bc, destroyer..etc. but yesterday and today it's like I can't get a question correct to save my life.. (a little exaggeration but.. only a little). I think I just feel so burnt out and I cannot focus 🙁 did any of you run into this? I am so close and I've worked so dang hard to be feeling this right now..

If you can, take 1 day off to relax and get your mind off everything. The next day, get ready to just keep practicing man. I was in the same boat last week and I take my test in another week. You got this. Just think of why you want it!

Thank you both. Yesterday was so awful I just broke down. I decided to stop studying and take the rest of the day/night off and come back into it this morning... only to have the same thing happening. I start my full lengths tomorrow and I do not want to start on a bad foot. Aug 8 is going to come sooner than I can imagine! Good luck on your test!

You too man. I just took a full length test. Going to spend the rest of the day reviewing my mistakes 😛

I'm taking my dat in a little less than a month, and I can definitely relate to you.. Make sure to take breaks. Sometimes I go for short drives to get myself out of the house and exposed to a different environment. I also started meditating a bit before I go to sleep at night to calm my nerves. I hope this helps.

in addition to breaks, sometimes its even nice to change up the study locations. something as subtle as that can sometimes lessen the stress even though you still studying. get a chance of scenery every now and then and see if it helps. But yes, breaks and rests without a doubt.
