Hey guys, i have a very random question. I'm just wonering if many people bring with them their undergrad diploma when they move to their new school? I'm debating right now if i should bring mine or leave it at my parents house. What do most people do???

I took mine with me, but then I didn't leave anything at my parents' house. You are not going to need it in med school though.

I left mine at my parent's house until Christmas break of M3 year. I only brought it back then because my parents sold our house, and I didn't want it to get lost in the move.

Really? Seriously? I just can't imagine what sort of situation makes this a question of such duress that you decide to ask a message board. Are there ANY positives or negatives that come from either decision? Maybe I'm missing something but can't fathom what that might possibly be.

The next time I'm going to need my diploma will be when I open my office and hang it on my wall. That's going to be another 10 years down the road. So I left it at my parents' house.

By the way, my school's diploma is simply huge.

Yeah. I don't know where mine is either. I haven't even actually seen it. I understand it's made out of a sheet of copper, though. I went to a mining school.

You need to paste it up on the inside of your locker, or like on your car window or something so that everyone knows where you spent the last four years.

Every time I read this title I start singing "Moving out (Anthony's Song)" in my head.

"Give you a heart-attack-ack-ack-ack"

My diploma is laughably huge. I left it at home. If it was smaller, though, I'd probably bring it with me and hang it up. Most expensive piece of art in the apartment.
