Hello,
For various reasons I want/need to get my masters online. I want either a MHA or MPA. The only problem is, MHA does not have any accredited Online programs, where as the MPA has several CEPH accredited universities..

I want to be a Director , executive officer, or some sort of leading person within a health facility.

I know the MHA may be a little stronger for someone trying to reach executive positions.

However, what about a MPA with a Health Policy track? Several universities have programs like that. How would that be as far as getting a good job after graduation.

Thanks!

You have a similar question as me; I do feel that getting an MHA would greatly improve your chances in getting a job.

However, my question has more a twist, as to whether I should wait and get a dual MPH/MBA or whether I should get an MHA after graduation and then go back later to finish up an MBA.

Anyways, good luck to you!

I'm considering the MPH/MBA too, but I'm leaning towards just the MPH for now. In general, having several years of work experience prior to pursing the MBA is really valuable because it'll help tremendously with the class discussions and projects. Since you're at Berkeley, why don't you pay Haas a visit and see what they recommend?

Can anyone help me out here?🙁

im pursuing a JD/MPH (mph in health policy and administration, however im not pursuing a JD from kent law school),

i know that at uic, their MPH in HPA is coupled with the MHA. The MHA is taught at the MPH HPA and many of the students take the same classes together. also, they are able to do the same internships over the summer like preceptorship of ceo at northwestern university medical center for example. from that point of view, i think a MPH in health policy and administration is good enough to be able to hold executive positions at health care facilities. i think when they hire you, theyll see your curriculum and notice that you do have training in this stuff
