Hi all!
I graduated undergrad with a 3.45 cgpa and 3.35 sgpa. I chose to pursue an MPH out of my own interest and am now wondering if that would demonstrate academic readiness to schools. I graduated with a 3.97 and concentrated in epi/bio so I took 20 credits that are BCPM. My academic struggles in undergrad were related to undiagnosed ADHD (which I don’t plan to disclose to schools but just for context here). I also have a 516 mcat if that provides any clarity. Any thoughts would be appreciated!

Unfortunately from what I've read, an MPH will not make a difference stats-wise. It needs to be an SMP or post-baccalaureate program. Maybe someone else can agree or disagree.

MD schools, no.
DO schools, yes.

What courses would you take with a postbac?
my major was CS adjacent so there are a few upper level biology courses I wasn’t able to take prior to graduating. It is very expensive though and I’d like to avoid doing that if possible. I’m just unsure of my next steps.

What is your GPA trend across your undergrad years?

Post bacc courses can be taken at any 4-year college or university. Perhaps a cheaper option exists for you. The goal is simply to post a string of A's and put some distance between your current 4.0/516 self and past 3.4/504 self.

that makes sense thank you! i didn’t think about any of this before i applied because i felt ready. do you recommend beginning post bac classes now as I wait to see how the cycle goes? also my term gpas are: 3.54, 2.87, 3.16, 3.42, 3.81, 4.0, 2.5 (really difficult summer cs course), 3.45, 3.63

Your GPA pattern is meandering. If you have the time and means I would start post bacc work now. If you get in this cycle then great. If not you will already be underway with addressing a weakness in your application.

Meandering? Great descriptor! I typically use undulating.
