MPH for IDP admission

Dear Friends,
I want to do MPH inorder to have good records on my CV for highly competitive IDP program. But doing MPH from a non accredited school , does this matter.Please advice?

obviously it will matter that from where you will complete your MPH, and if I was you then I would have went for accredited MPH...because they will ask for your MPH GPA as well and being in an accredited program you won't need to get evaluation done plus your accredited University would have more better reputation as well as you would have job opportunities till you get admission into advanced standing

let me summerize, without accredition there is no job opportunities and as well not useful for DDS also. Please correct if i am wrong. hope this thread will help others also.

im also planning to get admitted to MPH program.i think getting admitted to accredited program is definitely better.have u taken gre or NBDE?which branch of MPH you wanna apply?any ideas which program would improve our profile?what about the ms programs like in oral biology??have you thought about them?

First you probably won't be able to transfer, but if by chance you were able to you would still need to take the GRE. So, take the GRE and try and get into an accredited school the first time around.

You won't find this answer anywhere. Nobody here is capable of giving you a reliable answer for that.

One thing I can say for sure: TRY! Just go ahead and apply, take time to prepare your resume, put your papers in order and go for it! You'll never know if you don't try it.

go to the SOPHAS website there are a few CEPH accredited public health schools like University of Oklahoma which do not require you to give GRE but only toefl and this website

will give you a lot of insight about what school you like and how to proceed.
Its better to do MPH from accredited school plus even during even during F1 visa interview they do consider the schools status... hope it helps
